Kal Sarp Yoga is a term used in Vedic Astrology when all the planets are hemmed between Rahu and Ketu in your birth chart. This means, All the planets like: Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn are between the access of Rahu and Ketu or one side of Rahu and Ketu. This only occurs when no planet is in conjunction with Rahu or Ketu or is within 5 degrees of Rahu or Ketu.
KSP supposed to stop all good things in your life, like marriage, children stable career ect. And dumb, stupid astrologer, without looking at any other positive or negative combination will quickly say you need to do remedy for Kal Sarp Yoga otherwise none of the good things in life will happen to you, and he or she will suggest all sorts of drama on going about getting ride of this curse from your life. However, Does Kal Sarop Yoga exists? yes, it does, because if you are simply giving a situation a particular term as in when planets are hemmed between Rahu and Ketu, then yes, this term exist. I can make up thousands new terms by myself, but do they hold any meaning? No. In the original text of Parashar Hora Shastra, there is no mention of Kal Sarp Yoga. The term only came about 3 thousand years later by Rishi Acharya in early 1100 A.D. He was probabbly a businessmen, too.
However, KSP has no power at all in anyone's chart, because think about it, moon is in one sign for 2.5 days, that means, in the time it's on one side of Rahu and ketu, which is about 17 days, do you think all the babies born in that time period will have a miserable life? I don't think so.
Not to mention there are 12 kinds of Kal Sarp Yoga which affect certain portion of your life, if Rahu and Ketu are in 1st and 7th house then it creates Anant Kaal Sarp Yoga, which is supposed to deny marriage, while Rahu in the 2nd house and Ketu in the 8th house supposed to affect your income, which is called Kulik Kaal Sarpa Yoga, and the names roll on etc... Remember Rahu and Ketu are always 7 houses apart. When Rahu and Ketu are in 1st and 7th and rest of the planets are in houses like 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th house, then it's creating a kal sarp yoga. There are no remedies for Kal Sarp Yoga, because you don't need any.
