JUPITER
1.Jupiter in the 1st house- In the first house Jupiter gives a person very good health, good spouse, and higher education. Usually people with this position become teacher, councilors, and lawyers. This also gives a big family, especially the first child will be a boy, unless Venus or moon are sitting in the 5th house. This person is also very religious, and follows the law of the land and culture. However, these people may not have so much wealth, because for them, wealth is knowledge, which means a PhD isn’t always a millionaire, but is respected like one.
2.Jupiter in the 2nd house- Jupiter in the second house if is not affiliated, gives a very business minded person, who either takes on a family business, or opens his own business which may be similar to that of family. This person will do well in the food, clothing and real-estate industry, but usually I’ve seen people becoming writers, public speakers and teachers with this position as it gives a prominent voice. But, having Jupiter is 2nd house may not go that well, as Jupiter is the signafactor of the 2nd house, and sitting in its own place may causes some problem.
3.Jupiter in the 3rd house- In the third house Jupiter gives good relationship with siblings, the person may also receive a lot of help from siblings. The spouse of the native is also very supportive. Like the second house, in the third house Jupiter gives writing ability, and a very high philosophical mind.
4.Jupiter- Jupiter in the 4th house is one of the best position for Jupiter since this his best friend’s house, moon. In fourth house or the fourth sign Cancer, Jupiter is exalted. This gives an on time marriage, a lovely upbringing and love for real-estate; however, if Saturn or Rahu is looking at Jupiter or sitting with Jupiter, it can create a lot of chaos in the native’s family environment.
5.Jupiter in the 4th house- In the fifth house Jupiter brings a lot of luck and wealth to the person. This is the position of a financial analyst, stock broker or accountant. This person may not be an artist, but they will have a creative mind. Usually Venus and Mercury give the artistic talent in the 5th house. But, this can damage the education of a person, or give delayed education. There is a saying for Jupiter, “A lamp gives light to its surrounding area, except the place underneath the lamp.” Is this true about JupiteR? No, This only occurs when Jupiter is eclipsed by Rahu as in Guru Chandal Yoga or when Jupiter is a 'functional melafic for a ascendant'.
6.Jupiter in the 6th house- Jupiter in the sixth house gives victory over enemies, gains from friends, lots of wealth especially if it’s exalted or in its own sign, however this placement can also cause a lot of debt and health problems.
7.Jupiter in the 7th house- In the seventh house, Jupiter gives a business minded person, who may also become famous at some point in their life. This position also could make the native a lawyer, or be in some sort of government or political position. Jupiter in the 7th house doesn’t necessarily give an early marriage or a good spouse; remember what I said about the lamp quote? But, this position gives a long lasting marriage.
8.Jupiter in the 8th house- Jupiter in the 8th house makes a person a healer, with a very spiritual mind. Gives a long life, and will to rise up after falling dramatically from a point in life. However, this position also gives the native a very weak posture, and their eyesight can be damaged as well. This person is always dealing with some health problem, or doesn’t have a healthy weight.
9.Jupiterin the 9th house- In the ninth house, Jupiter blesses a person with lots of luck from god, a huge and wealthy family, and a very good education. However, since Jupiter is about expansion, this position can also give excessive weigh to a person. Usually people with Jupiter in the 4th, 5th, or 9th house have excessive weigh. But, this is very good position for health, and status in society.
10.Jupiter in the 10th house- Even thought all planets except Ketu gives good results in 10th house, Jupiter, too, doesn’t really feel comfortable in 10th house, especially since its weakest position in the 10th sign of Capricorn. Jupiter is about religion, spirituality, and dharma. Jupiter is like a teacher, or professor, and they usually do not like to work, but rather give lectures, sitting in their office and just study. Here, Jupiter is forced to work in place where they not only are forced to use their mind on things they do not want to think about, but are also forced to use their body.
11.Jupiter in the 11th house- This is one of the best position for Jupiter besides the 4th house. In this house Jupiter can make a person a multi-millionaire, or billionaire, since Jupiter loves to expand, and 11th house is about incoming gains. During its dasha, this is the best place for having a good and positive Jupiter. Jupiter and Saturn both give lot of wealth to the native in 11th house. In this position most people are their own boss, or work independent as a consultant.
12.Jupiter in the 12th house- This position is one of the best one to become a spiritual guru, or just a spiritual person who doesn’t really care for material things. However, this position also damaged the logically mind of a person, who may be forced to live in a logical world where they need to have street smartness, and Jupiter in the 12th house gives a very dreamy nature to a person, who might be lost in their own world most of the time and refuse to take any real action towards improving their material life. In this position people usually like being single, or do not really care for marriage and partnership. Health wise, too, people have constipation problem and stomach problem with this position.
In conclusion, there is a saying about Jupiter which I mentioned in the 6th house paragraph. , “A lamp gives light to its surrounding area, except the place underneath the lamp.” This not really true, this only happens when Jupiter is eclipsed by Rahu or when Jupiter is a 'functional melafic for a ascendant'.
