Purpose of birth in Vedic Astrology
This is article is again based on the valuable knowledge of my good friend and Guru Sunil John of Saparishis Astrology Group. He enlightened us with his presence many time on my youtube channel. In one of these such interviews he touched upon a subject of pending karma and purpose of birth. These are two different concepts. I was more intrigued by purpose of birth just like Bhrigu Bindu. What is your purpose of birth? why were we born on this planet? what is the reason behind our physical existence. Many would compare purpose of birth with Bhrigu Bindu and that should not be the case. We as human beings have many purpose for our birth but there is only one destiny.
The question is how do you find purpose of birth in your horoscope? This is quite simple of a task. Take a look at your ascendant, whatever the ascendant is, see which house it originally represents then go to that house and study that house. That's it. If you are a Leo ascendant, Leo is the 5th zodiac sign in the zodiac belt the original 5th house, so look at the 5th house see where 5th lord is placed, who aspects or sits in 5th house. This study will give you a clue about the native's purpose of birth. But you must know the simple chronological order of the zodiac.

Whatever number is next to your ascendant just go to that house and analyze that house. I studied this concept hardcore for 2 months and eventually had to put it on a back burner. Why? not because I wasn't getting any results, but I noticed that certain purpose of birth weren't so positive. It was showing death, destruction, separation, and sorrow, the things the native is here to suffer in this life as part of their purpose. I do not have the heart to tell such things to people about their chart so I had to stop. I will give you some examples about purpose of birth.
Chart 1
This is a chart of Australia born person. He is born as a Gemini ascendant that means he's the 3rd zodiac sign, which means I will analyze his 3rd house. 3rd lord Sun is in 11th house with Mercury while Mars Venus aspect the 3rd house. There purpose of birth is to be part of a large organization where they will communicating with authorities regarding disputes of marriage and assets. The native was studying to be a divorce and property lawyer and was to work with their father in his law firm. Sun being in the nakshatra of Ashwini as lord Ketu sits in the 2nd house gives inclination towards assets and money or "dividing of assets" which Ketu does.
Chart 2
This is the chart of George W. Bush Jr. He is born as a Cancer ascendant which means he is born as the 4th zodiac sign. If we look at the 4th house, 4th lord Venus is sitting with Saturn and Mercury. Venus is in the nakshatra of Ashlesha. What is the purpose of birth here? His purpose of birth is to leave a legacy regarding fighting and war in home and foreign lands and to be known as a cunning personality. Ashlesha is not the best nakshatra for Venus to be in, 4th house is home and people of the homeland, and it's lord is conjunct the 12th lord of foreign lands and 3rd house of courage and information while conjunct the 7th and 8th lord Saturn. Venus conjunct 8th lord or Saturn shows one will leave a legacy in this life but due to Saturn being the lord of 8th house and Venus being in ashlesha nakshatra his legacy will not be remembered for the good. Saturn and Venus naturally create a Raj Yoga and Saturn is a servant. His purpose was to be a servant to others through cunning nature.
Chart 3
This is Libra ascendant chart that means we will look at the 7th house. 7th lord Mars is conjunct Saturn in 3rd house while Venus and Jupiter sit in the 7th house with aspect of Ketu. What can be the purpose of birth of this native? this person got divorced after facing many arguments, and disaster marriage with their spouse. Why? first, 7th lord Mars is conjunct Saturn in the parakaram house which is the house of borders and wars. The native's spouse had a very harsh tongue and communication style which bought coldness in the marriage from the get-go. 6th lord of disputes and arguments is in the 7th house conjunct the karaka of marriage Venus while planet of separation and breaks aspects the 7th house. Now, if I was to notice such a thing during my marriage or career consultation do you think it's right for me to tell the client this negative news? sure you may think they need to know the truth, but what if it effects them psychologically? then I will be bound to their negative energy. But this is how the purpose of birth is read.
